Apply to our Investigative Multimedia Reporting Workshop III

Media Foundation (MF) is a non-profit organization advancing excellence in journalism and communications disciplines via training, education and research, since 2009.

With the support of Humanity United, MF’s SCNJIR project invites journalists from all over Nepal to apply for an investigative and multimedia reporting fellowships batch III for 2019. The fellowship program will cover seven days of a residential workshop in Kathmandu, August 10-16, 2019, travel expenses for workshop and fellowship grants of up to Nrs 70,000 to report, write or produce significant investigative reports from the field.

Requirements:

Academic Qualification: Bachelors in any discipline with four years of journalism experience

An essay (400 words) explaining your interest in applying for this fellowship
Two story ideas (400 words) for an investigative story on accountability, human trafficking, or/and migration issues.
Letter of support for publishing/broadcasting stories from your media outlet. Freelancers can apply with a letter of support from an outlet

Short biography up to 300 words
A resume or curriculum vitae
Two samples of work focusing on accountability, labor migration or human trafficking published after 2015

Deadline Extended: July 21, 2019.

Media Foundation will inform the selected participants by July 23, 2019.
